My journey into fertility medicine did not begin with medicine at all. It began with curiosity. With a fascination for how life begins.
Over time, that curiosity became a lifelong commitment to reproductive medicine and to helping people whose paths to parenthood are not straightforward.

More than two decades, three countries, one question
Long before I entered medical school, I was fascinated by science, discovery, and the questions that shape our understanding of life itself. This fascination led me to study Molecular Biology, where I first encountered embryology.
I was captivated by the extraordinary process through which a single cell becomes a human being, and it was then that I knew I wanted to dedicate my career to reproductive medicine.
That was the moment I truly fell in love with the field.
After graduating from medical school, I began my specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and joined the doctoral research team of Professor Marian Szamatowicz, the pioneer behind the first successful IVF treatment in Poland.
More than two decades later, I remain as fascinated by reproductive medicine as I was when I first looked down a microscope and discovered the world of embryology.
